Bio

I am not who I used to be, not yet who I want to be, but I am enjoying the journey.  Music was never my ambtion in life but now my passion lies in sharing the songs I've been given - hopeful music from the heart.


The Shenandoah Valley of Virginia is home, but I currently live in Nashville, Tennessee for the Fall of 2011. I grew up singing, taught myself to play guitar in college and discovered the songwriter in me along the way. In recent years I've learned that songs express more by way of a melody than black words on a white page allow. Writing songs allows me to express the things that mean the most to me- life, relationships and faith in Jesus.  It is my hope to point to The Truth that sets us free, be an encouragement to those who listen and enjoy life along the way.
